Today I am tackling pink. This color really is everywhere, including our own chandeliers. To me, it's happy. It's vibrant and so pretty to look at. It can be bold or it can be used as a highlight. I've gathered some fun photos of various ways to decorate with pink for home decor and for parties.
But first, let's talk about how the color can be used as a neutral.
What? Neutral? Yes. Use it as a wall color (light pink especially can be a neutral). Use it a specific tone of pink: hot pink, light pink, dark pink as a theme throughout the room. Think pillows, candles, chandelier, rug, wall art. Once that color gets going, it's amazing how well it flows. I almost think it takes on a life of its own, weaving its way to your eye in stores, online, etc. Try it and see. It will haunt you.
I'd love to hear how you use pink in your everyday. Leave me a comment!
I know for me, once I really got happy with my life, and I started to really have fun, pink laid itself all over me. I couldn't get enough. Was it because I got happy with myself? Maybe. Now I can't live without it. It's all over my house. Luckily, my husband loves it too.
